چکیده
Background With the development of endoscopic technology, detection rate synchronous multiple primary early esophageal cancer (SMPEEC) is increasing; however, risk factors remain unclear. We aimed to assess clinicopathological characteristics patients with SMPEEC and investigate contributing lesions. Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 911 consecutive who underwent Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for neoplasms from January 2013 June 2021. The were divided into group solitary (SEEC) group. compared differences in between two groups investigated linked Additionally, we relationship main accessory Results total 87 included this study, frequency lesions 9.55% cancer. mainly located lower segment esophagus (46[52.9%]), whereas those SEEC middle (412[50.0%]). pathology type, tumor location, circumferential independent factors( P <0.05) by logistic regression analysis. Significant positive correlations observed terms morphologic type (r=0.632, =0.000), location(r=0.325, =0.037), pathologic (r=0.299, =0.003), depth invasion (r=0.562, =0.000). Conclusion Pathology identified as SMEPPC. Understanding these correlation could significantly improve SMPEEC.

In total, 1529 patients who were treated for early gastric cancer were included. We analyzed the patient's data to find predictive ...
متن کاملRisk factors for multiple oral premalignant lesions.
Oral leukoplakia, oral submucous fibrosis and erythroplakia are 3 major types of oral premalignant lesions. Multiple oral premalignant lesions may possibly develop due to field cancerization, where carcinogenic exposures can cause simultaneous genetic defects to the upper aerodigestive tract epithelium, putting the epithelium at high risk for development of premalignant lesions at different sta...
